NUHRA

    Who We Are

Welcome to the Northern Utah Human Resource Association website, also known as NUHRA! We serve as a resource to Utah employers and HR professionals operating in the Weber, Davis, and Morgan county area. NUHRA partners with the local community, businesses, and the Weber State University Student SHRM Chapter to host professional development meetings, conferences, networking events, a golf tournament to raise HR student scholarship money, and more!

Our chapter was chartered on December 17, 1974 and on January 1, 2001 we became a SHRM 100% chapter. A 100% chapter requires all of its members to be national SHRM members. This status allows NUHRA to receive enhanced benefits from SHRM.

As a professional, non-profit, affiliate chapter of SHRM, we help create better workplaces where employers and employees thrive together. As the voice of all things work, workers, and the workplace, SHRM is the foremost expert, convener, and thought leader on issues impacting today's evolving workplaces. With 300,000+ HR and business executive members in 165 countries, SHRM impacts the lives of more than 115 million workers and families globally. Learn more at SHRM.org and on Twitter @SHRM.

Whether you are new to the HR field or have years of experience we are a fantastic association of people seeking progressive development, professional networking, community outreach opportunities, real-world information, and continued support of excellence in all-things HR!
