NUHRA has some exciting information to share!

1: The SHRM Student Case Competition is approaching!   If you have not heard yet, the Case Competition will be held at Weber State University's John B. Goddard School of Business on Saturday, March 23rd 2024. 

How can you help? I thought you'd never ask!  We will need the following:

• Judges. They need to be SHRM Certified (I am checking with SHRM about HRCI, but for now, SHRM Certified).
• Volunteers to help plan and execute prior to the competition (organizing judges, teams, sponsors etc) 
• Volunteers to help on the day of the event (helping check people in, directing students, etc.) 
• Sponsors: any companies interested in supporting either monetarily, or by contributing a swag item to a thank-you bag for the judges (about 30 people).

2: Wecon (the Utah SHRM Work Elevated Conference)  is September 23-25 in Provo. Johnny C Taylor, CEO of SHRM will be speaking to us, this is certainly an event you do not want to miss!  If you need help paying for it, contact your local Custom Fit Group at the Tech Colleges (for-profit and non-government companies only), they can reimburse up to 30% of the cost! https://weconutah.com/
