Deborah H Stone will present to us on Ethics as a Higher Standard for HR Professionals.

Debbie Stone has been an HR professional for several decades and has worked at Employers Council for the last seven years as an HR and Organizational Development Consultant. She spends most of her time addressing questions with Employers Council members around performance management issues and regulatory compliance. Her work in these areas constantly reinforces her belief that many disciplinary actions and terminations are, at their root, caused by abstract business policies and practices. 

Debbie is delighted to discuss Ethics in an HR context. She majored in Philosophy and obtained a B.A. from George Mason University in Virginia. She also holds an M.S. in Management from the University of Maryland, where her graduate work focused on Ethics in Organizations.
