Joe C Tate will present to us:

Current Legal Challenges for HR Professionals

    The presentation will include:

    1. The primary source of employment risk.
    2. Changes in legal regulations.
    3. Proactive prevention of risk in the workplace.
    4. Protecting Your Data.
    5. Tools to make it easier for HR Professionals (ThinkHR, Applicant Pro, etc. )

Joe C Tate – HR professional and student of employee behavior and challenges for over two decades. Married for 22 years and 2 weeks, looking forward to the next 22 years and the arrival of grandchildren. Graduate of the University of Utah (Go Utes!) and MBA student at Westminster College. Snowbird Mountain School Instructor. Notable moments: Ran the HR team for a company with 7300 employees, 400 of the total were deaf employees. Suffered a full-blown data compromise of the HRIS system and yet stayed ahead of the perpetrators. Hired 1088 employees in a three month period – and lived to talk about it. Battled a serious EEO claim against a Witch, resulting in no negative impact to the company and gaining respect from the Witch.

This event has been pre-approved for 1 HRCI and 1 SHRM credit.
