    Sandra Abbey  will present:

Courageous Leadership: Creating an Organizational Culture of Accountability and Trust

This presentation explores the strategic relationship between courage in the workplace and creating an organizational culture of trust. Based on the research of Bill Treasurer (author of Courage Goes To Work), and others, Human Resources Professionals are in a unique position of influence to create a workplace culture that in which courageous leadership results in a culture of more accountability, innovation, and trust.

Participants will learn three types of courage that can be put to use right away, and will recognize two types of actions by supervisors and managers that can either discourage or encourage employees to be more engaged, innovative, trusting, and accountable. (note: a half-day or full-day workshop on this topic is available in the event participants wish to bring more in-depth training on this topic to their own organizations).
